Betway Bets of the Day: Bet on Elias Lindholm to shine in game five

2 months agoThe Vancouver Canucks are back in action tonight in the biggest game at Rogers Arena since game seven of the finals in 2011. With Canucks fever sweeping the province, Vancouver will look to take a 3-2 series lead against the Edmonton Oilers.
Vancouver has done a complete overhaul of their middle six. Elias Pettersson, who has notoriously struggled these playoffs, will finally get the reinforcements he needs as he will start the game on an all-Swedish line also featuring Nils Hoglander and Elias Lindholm. Vancouver will also reunite the Dakota Joshua – Teddy Blueger – Conor Garland line, which dominated the regular season together.
Today’s expected goaltender matchups for our highlighted game:
The Vancouver Canucks’ Arturs Silovs (3-0-1) vs. The Edmonton Oilers’ Calvin Packard (12-7-1).
Elias Lindholm to register over 1.5 shots at -190. My $12.50 bet would return $19.07 and Elias Lindholm to score anytime at +300. My $10 bet would return $30
Lindholm has been excellent for the Canucks all post-season long and I expect another strong game for him as he will now be playing with a motivated Elias Pettersson. I like him to get at least two shots playing on an offensive line and on the Canucks top power-play unit.
I like him so much in this spot I will take him also to score anytime, just too much value here for my liking.
Take his shot line at a full unit and his goal scorer line at .8 units. Looking for a big night from Lindholm here.
Quinn Hughes to register an assist at -135. My $10 bet would return $17.40.
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Hughes has cashed us out on this exact play in three straight games, and we will take it again. Hughes has absolutely dominated the Oilers this season, especially on home ice.
