If you bet on JT Miller, Kirill Kaprizov, and Joel Eriksson-Ek to all get duelling hat-tricks in the same game, you’re probably reading this article in Turks and Caicos right now planning your early retirement.
Monday afternoon featured the wildest game I have ever seen in my 20 years of Canucks fandom, as the Minnesota Wild defeated the Canucks 10-7.
Next up for Vancouver is an extremely tough back-t0-back in high altitude against the high-flying Colorado Avalanche. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.

Player Prop

Nathan Mackinnon to register over 4.5 shots at -110. My $10 bet would return $19.09.
Nate Dog has been absolutely lethal this season and is currently the odds-on favourite to win the Hart Trophy. Mackinnon has hit his over 4.5 in his last three games and has registered an insane 17 shots in his last two matchups with the Canucks, which is an average of 8.5 per game.
Take this bet at .8 units.

Player Prop

Elias Pettersson to register over 2.5 shots at -105. My $10 bet would return $19.52.
Despite the slack Pettersson has received this season from a portion of the fan base, the Canucks’ star is trotting at a 41-goal and 105-point pace and will become the first Canuck since Pavel Bure to score 100 points in back-to-back seasons. Pettersson has hit his over 2.5 in his last two games and has historically played well against Colorado, hitting his over in three of his last four matchups with the club.
Take this play at .8 units.

Pre-Built Bets

Vancouver to score a power-play goal at -105. My $10 bet would return $19.52.
The books are underrating the fire power on the Canucks’ man advantage. They finally broke out of a massive slump on Monday and are poised to go on a bit of a run here. Colorado is bottom ten in penalty minutes league wide, meaning the Canucks should get some decent opportunities.
Take this play at .8 units also.

Last Game Bets

Kirill Kaprizov to register over 3.5 shots at -118. My $10 bet would return $18.50. – HIT
Vancouver to score a power-play goal at -105. My $12.50 bet would return $24.40. – HIT
JT Miller to register over 2.5 shots at -105. My $10 bet would return $19.62.- HIT
Back to our old ways, we staked $32.50 and returned $62.52. We are now up $72.66 on the season.
