The Canucks ___ in Boston last night, just like old times. Off the ice, they were busy blogging, watching Riverdale, and throwing tape at hooks.
  • Brock Boeser is still blogging! In his latest entry, he talks ziplining and Riverdale and he requests a Halloween costume suggestion (but he says he refuses to go as Prince Charming from Shrek).
  • Speaking of young Brock, the @Canucks gif game has been very fun this season.
  • These two guys tried to make Chris Tanev play dirty and shoot hard, the two things that he is probably worst at. It resulted in a fun little video.
  • Get to know Canucks prospect Jonah Gadjovich, who signed an entry-level contract with the team this week. Jonah loves rock climbing, Mats Sundin, and is a total Aaron Ekblad (looks 35 when he’s actually a teenager).

  • Here’s a behind the scenes look at the Canucks win over the Senators on Tuesday night. The video features a brief Alex Burrows appearance, some duelling Prime Ministers, and some nice views of Anders Nilsson’s perfect debut.
  • Before the Ottawa game, the Canucks continued their tradition of getting soccer balls stuck in ceilings. Ben Hutton’s first instinct was to throw the “Floor Slippery When Wet” sign at it, which is great.
  • Pregame warmups in Ottawa seem to be eventful times. Before losing their soccer ball, the team spent their time trying to throw tape onto a hook – this isn’t a new activity for the gang, as you can read about in the latest Fort Nucks. Jake Virtanen’s reaction to finally succeeding is so genuinely thrilled.

  • It’s not pretty in Vancouver today, but it was last weekend. DJ MDZ met an owl and Pheobe Stecher had a nice time!
