The Canucks are finally playing regular season hockey again! Their first week back was jam packed with holidays, weird gifs, and excessive amounts of meat!
- It was Thanksgiving last weekend, which means that the boys got to hang out with their families. I love the photo of Michael Del Zotto that his mum took.

- DJ MDZ was mic’d up for the home opener. He comments on the new, slim-fitting jerseys, yells in Thomas Vanek’s ear, and shares some words of encouragement with his teammates. He also gets yelled at by Zack Kassian.

- Chris Tanev scored two goals this week and wow, this gif.
- Apparently a Meat Draw is a classic Canadian tradition, so the Canucks will have one for a few Canadian match-ups this season. Because I have never heard of a Meat Draw before this, I was extremely confused by the below photo. It’s probably not that funny if you’re familiar with the concept of a Meat Draw, but I laughed.
- Richard Sherman randomly made a Facebook post about how much he loves his Canucks jersey. Nice!
- Kevin Bieksa is no longer a Canuck, but this video of him rapping the lyrics to Hey Mama by David Guetta and Nicki Minaj with his daughter is very important. Stunning stuff.

- Speaking of former Canucks, Alex Burrows returned to Vancouver and everyone was emotional.
