The Canucks had the week off from hockey, but not from the important things in life. The gang spent their week off getting puppies, discussing chicken wings, and hanging out with kids.
  • Troy Stecher got a new puppy and she is the best puppy. Wow. Troy Stecher loves Friends, so he named his dog after Phoebe Buffay. She’s perfect.
  • Have you ever wondered what Erik Gudbranson thinks about chicken wings, emojis, and jock straps? Me neither, but it’s time to find out anyway.

  • Michael Chaput also recently participated in the Over/Under game. Chaput talks about the highs and lows of Snapchat, squirrels, and empty net goals.

  • Canucks Prospect Will Lockwood says “hackey” instead of hockey and that’s just as important as what he can do on the ice. That’s an unbelievable accent. Will loves his mom and looks up to Sergei Fedorov, Henrik Zetterberg, and Tomas Tatar. Guess where he’s from.
  • Alex Biega sat down with a smaller Alex (among others) in the latest edition of CanucksTV’s Junior Reporter. Biega is a big Steve Yzerman fan – he and Will Lockwood would likely get along. He also talks mullets, self-confidence, and standing up for his teammates.
  • Henrik Sedin has separated the Canucks into Team Europe and Team North America for the upcoming Superskills competition. Toronto native Chris Tanev is apparently representing the noted hockey hotbed of Macedonia.
