Late Thursday afternoon, the Vancouver Canucks announced that they had partnered with BC Guide Dogs and will be sponsoring a litter of puppies, as well as raising a puppy of their own this upcoming season.

The Canucks are urging fans to submit name ideas for the club’s new canine, and fans will then get to vote on their favourite name at a later date.
