The Vancouver Canucks are set to have a new patch on the front of their jerseys this season.
On Tuesday, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE) announced the start of a multi-year partnership, with RBC named as the team’s official bank. As part of the deal, Vancouver’s home jersey will now feature the RBC logo, beginning in the 2026-27 season. This will replace the TD Bank logo on the upper-left of the jersey.
“RBC has been a trusted name in the lives of Canadians for generations, and we’re excited to welcome them as a new partner,” said Canucks Sports & Entertainment’s President of Business Operations, Michael Doyle. “We share a deep commitment to this city, to supporting local community organizations and to creating exceptional experiences for our fans. We look forward to building on those shared values and making a meaningful impact together in the years ahead.”
The partnership will include sponsorship and marketing opportunities for RBC and a number of other teams under the CSE umbrella, including the AHL’s Abbotsford Canucks, the National Lacrosse League’s Vancouver Warriors, as well as both Vancouver’s Rogers Arena, and Abbotsford’s Rogers Forum. RBC will now also serve as the Presenting Sponsor for next season’s home opener and select Community Nights throughout the season. The partnership will also see RBC benefit The Canucks for Kids Fund (CFKF), in support of children’s health and wellness, education, and social impact programming.
“From concert stages to centre ice, RBC is proud to continue investing in world-class experiences that Canadians are passionate about,” said Shannon Cole, Chief Brand Officer, RBC. “Through our long-standing commitments to sports and entertainment, we appreciate what fans truly value: connection, access and experiences that feel personal. CSE and the Vancouver Canucks are stepping into an exciting new chapter, and we’re proud to join them as a partner who knows how to make every fan’s experience even more memorable, from the time they arrive, to the final moments of the night, and beyond.”
TD Bank was unveiled as the home jersey patch sponsor in October of 2022, as part of a multi-year partnership. Tuesday’s release does not include details on what patch the team will have on away jerseys next season. Since 2024, legal technology company Clio has had their logo on the Canucks’ away jerseys.
