Early Friday morning, the Vancouver Canucks announced their six-game preseason schedule.
All six games will be against Pacific Division teams with the Canucks facing off twice against each of the Calgary Flames, Seattle Kraken, and Edmonton Oilers. It&#8217;s a simple schedule, with the Canucks playing one home game and one away game against each of the Flames, Kraken, and Oilers.
The Canucks get things started on September 24th in Calgary. They follow that up on the 27th in Edmonton and then head down to Seattle on the 28th to face off against the Kraken.
Rogers Arena gets its first action on September 30th, when the Canucks host the Oilers.
Then, the Abbotsford Centre will get another taste of preseason hockey. The Kraken will make the trip to the Fraser Valley to play on October 4th.
After the Abby trip, the Canucks will return to Rogers Arena on October 6th to close out the preseason with a game against the Flames.

There&#8217;s a bit of confusion about the first preseason game as the Canucks are scheduled to have their training camp from September 21st through to September 25th. Obviously, that conflicts with their game in Calgary on the 24th so it will be interesting to see who gets out of the final two days of training camp. I guess we can expect a lot of conditioning skates during the first couple of days at training camp.
It&#8217;s nice to see Pacific Divison teams come through as the team preps for the regular season. The final three games are all at home (with one being in Abbotsford) so you can expect to see a lot of the NHLers in the lineup while those first three road games will likely have a good chunk of AHLers and prospect in action for those road games.
