The Vancouver Canucks signed prospects William Lockwood and Marc Michaelis on Thursday.
#Canucks news on a Friday, with the club signing William Lockwood to a 2-year ELC and German-born forward Marc DiMichaels out of Minnesota State (Mankato) to a 1-year contract.

Lockwood, 21, appeared in 33 games for the University of Michigan this year scoring nine goals and 23 points. He inked a two-year deal with Vancouver.
A 2016 third-round pick of the Canucks, Lockwood was the captain of his team.
Michaelis, 24, meanwhile, played with Minnesota State University last year scoring 20 goals and 44 points in 31 games.

The 5’10”, 185-pound forward who is a native of Manheim, Germany, represented Team Germany in the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championships, where he recorded 2 points (0-2-2) in 6 games played.
