One of the best players in Utica Comets history has officially signed in the KHL.
Reid Boucher, 26, was announced to have signed a one-year deal with Avangard Omsk. This past year he racked up 34 goals and 67 points in 53 AHL games.
He’s been in the Canucks organization for the last three years and has been a major part of the Comets often becoming a go-to player for the club.
Boucher is the second player from the Comets to sign in the KHL in recent weeks. Nikolay Goldobin signed last week with the league’s CSKA Moscow.
