Chatfield, 24, is in his third year in the Canucks organization having played all of his time in the American Hockey League.
There, with the Utica Comets, Chatfield has appeared in 142 games scoring two goals and 17 points. He’s one of the defenceman who the organization feels is on the cusp of pushing into the Canucks’ lineup.
