Vancouver Canucks prospect Brogan Rafftery named to AHL all-rookie team

Vancouver Canucks defensive prospect Brogan Rafferty has been named to the American Hockey League’s all-rookie team.
Rafferty, 24, scored 38 assists and 45 points in 57 games with the the league’s Utica Comets.
Signed by the Canucks in April 2019, Rafferty played for the NCAA’s Quinnipiac University where he put up 65 points in 116 games there.
He had a great performance with the Comets this year placing third among all AHL defencemen in scoring this year and topped all league rookies with 38 assists.
The rookie posted 20 points on a Comets powerplay that finished the AHL year fourth.
