The Vancouver Canucks placed defenceman Travis Hamonic on the injured reserve Thursday.
Hamonic left Wednesday’s game against the Boston Bruins after a collision with Bruins forward Brad Marchand. The incident happened at the 14:00 mark of the second period and saw Hamonic quickly make his way to the Canucks’ dressing room.
Hamonic, 31, has appeared in nine games with the Canucks this year scoring one assist.
The club also recalled defenceman Noah Juulsen from AHL Abbotsford. He has appeared in 17 games scoring one goal.
