The Vancouver Canucks have added forward Elias Pettersson to COVID protocol, the club announced Wednesday evening.
Pettersson hasn’t found his stride just yet, and is currently sitting at six goals and 11 assists through 34 games played.
Pettersson likely won’t be able to re-join the club in time for their Saturday evening home game against the Ottawa Senators, and it could be longer depending on a number of factors, such as when Pettersson’s positive test was conducted, if he’s showing symptoms, and more.
We will monitor the situation closely and provide updates as they arise.
More to come.
