Vancouver Canucks defenceman Travis Hamonic will miss a couple of games after suffering an upper-body injury, TSN’s Rick Dhaliwal reported Thursday.
Hamonic was injured in Wednesday’s game against the Montreal Canadiens and was seen doubled over on the bench in the third period.
Travis Green didn’t provide an update on either Hamonic, or Alex Edler, who was also banged up during the game in the second period.
There’s been no update on Edler’s status, other than the team saying he left with an upper-body injury.
