Vancouver Canucks captain Bo Horvat penned a letter to season ticket holders that went out yesterday.
In the letter, Horvat thanked the fans for being there for them through the pandemic.
“When our momentum was interrupted by the pandemic, the resiliency, strength, and passion of you — our members — never wavered,” wrote Horvat. “We recognize these last few months have been a unique and challenging time for many of you.
“Having your continued support in these tough times means even more.”
He said the team is now even hungrier to get back into the playoffs.
“With your help, we were able to clinch a playoff spot for the first time in five years — giving us all something to cheer about,” Horvat wrote. “During the postseason, we got contributions from throughout the lineup and were able to beat Minnesota, and the Stanley Cup Champs, St. Louis.
“Although we’re sad out playoff journey has come to an end, winning those huge games and getting the playoff experience is only going to help us going forward. We’re even hungrier to get back there.”
