Report: Abbotsford AHL team shortlisted, season ticket holders to vote on name

The Vancouver Canucks’ AHL franchise has had its name shortlisted.
And according to Rick Dhaliwal, there’s a list of 10 names set to be voted on by season ticket holders.
The Aces, Aeros, Avengers, Aviators, Canucks, Golden Eagles, Pilots, Millionaires, Sockeyes and Falcons are the names heading to a vote.
Not only that, but the organization has settled on the AHL’s club being named Abbotsford, or Fraser Valley.
The Canucks announced in early May their AHL affiliate would be moving to Abbotsford and playing out of the Abbotsford Centre.
