#Canucks should have two goals from Elias Pettersson, but instead they find themselves down 1-0.

Elias Pettersson took accountability and put blame on himself post-game, pointing out that he put the team in a bad spot on NSH’s third goal and the empty net he missed on the PP #Canucks

“It’s kind of like that series against Columbus with Torts. They did the same thing, they got a lead and they sat around in the zone and blocked everything. They (Nashville) play defense like that no matter what. And they got some brave players but we just have to find a way to keep going to the net. It’s not rocket science here, we’ve got to get it past that layer once. Once it gets by that layer, we seem to have looks we just got to finish on ’em.”
“We controlled a lot of play again. Just need to bear down and keep having numbers at the net, and not get off Canucks hockey to go try and find goals. Because if we stay with it, they’ll come.”

We don’t have any words and we know you don’t want to hear them.
We understand your anger, your frustration, your sadness. Everything you’re feeling – we get it.
This isn’t the ending we imagined, and certainly not the one we wanted. Thank you for being there the entire way.
