Can't help but cheer for Rodin after what he has gone through in the last 2 years with injuries. He gets another chance at the NHL.

Former Canuck Anton Rodin Signs With Anaheim Ducks

Jul 1, 2018, 13:48 EDT
Sportsnet’s Rick Dhaliwal is reporting that former Canucks winger Anton Rodin has signed in Anaheim.
Rodin’s taken a long road to the NHL. He struggled during his tenure with the Chicago Wolves and eventually returned to Sweden, where he was named SHL MVP in 2015-16. His return to Vancouver for the 2016-17 season was met with some fanfare but unfortunately he continued to struggle with injury and played just three games with the Canucks, scoring a single assist. Early last season, Rodin struggled to fit in on a veteran-heavy Utica Comets team and was placed on unconditional wavers for the purpose of terminating his contract on November 20, 2017.
Rodin continued to play well and generate interest while playing with HC Davos of the Swiss National League A. He’s been the victim of some terrible luck in every pro league he’s skated in. Rodin’s worked tirelessly to earn his shot in the NHL and has flashed high-end skill at every level prior. This is a low-risk, high-reward signing for the Ducks, who could use some extra scoring depth on the wing. Terms of the contract have yet to be announced.
