<p>After stepping down as head coach of the Columbus Blue Jackets prior to last season and taking a job with ESPN as a TV analyst, former Canucks head coach John Tortorella has reportedly agreed to terms with the Philadelphia Flyers on a four-year contract, according to ESPN&#8217;s Kevin Weekes.</p>

<p>According to Weekes, Tortorella&#8217;s deal is &#8220;in the neighbourhood&#8221; of $4 million per season for the next four seasons.</p>
<p>Tortorella, 63, stepped down after six seasons behind the Columbus bench shortly after the 2020-21 season.</p>
<p>Prior to that, he served as head coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Rangers before a brief stop in Vancouver in a season that many Canucks fans would like to forget.</p>
