Former Arizona Coyotes embrace warm welcome in Utah’s Delta Center
Bright and early at the Salt Lake City airport, ex-Arizona Coyotes players and coaches were greeted by around 100 enthusiastic kids from local hockey programs. Later on, the team joined in a fan celebration at the Delta Center.
While leaving Arizona might have been bittersweet for some players, the reception in Utah quickly lifted their spirits. Walking down a black carpet on the Delta Center ice, surrounded by cheering fans and families, players and staff soaked in the buzzing atmosphere. When they took the stage, they didn’t just introduce themselves, but truly connected with the crowd, sharing jokes and laughs.

As the Utah NHL team is still looking for a name, several options are on the table:
The full list is now Utah Mammoth, Utah Ice, Utah Yetis, Utah Venom, Utah Fury, Utah Blizzard, Utah Outlaws and Utah Hockey Club (or Utah HC).
Two more trademark applications were filed on Tuesday by Uyte LLC for seemingly potential team names: Utah Mammoth and Utah Ice
Amazon, Rogers, and the NHL Strike Deal for Prime Monday Night Hockey
Amazon, Rogers, and the NHL have signed a two-year agreement to bring Canadian hockey fans exclusive Monday night NHL action through Prime Video. Dubbed “Prime Monday Night Hockey,” this deal will stream all national regular season Monday night NHL games in English for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 NHL seasons.

Produced by Prime Video, Prime Monday Night Hockey will feature a new broadcast team offering in-depth analysis and play-by-play coverage, available only to Prime members in Canada.
