Comets release McKenzie from ATO

According to the AHL transactions list, Brett McKenzie was released from his amateur tryout with the Utica Comets today.
McKenzie was a 2016 seventh-round selection by the Vancouver Canucks and had just wrapped up a season with the North Bay Battalion of the OHL.
This season, he scored 29 goals and 38 assist in 67 games played. McKenzie was signed to an ATO on March 22nd, but didn’t play in any games for the Comets.
