Welcome to the yearly wrap up of the top read articles over the last year!
The Vancouver Canucks had lots of question marks heading into the offseason this year and rumblings began about what would happen when the calendar turned over to 2020.
On Feb. 15, Cam Lewis wrapped up some news and notes on Jacob Markstrom, Michael Ferland and others. It was the 10th most-read article this year.
On Markstrom, he quoted Bob McKenzie who said that the club was nowhere near a new contract. Michael Ferland, meanwhile, had left a game on Feb. 14 with concussion-like symptoms. His future as a hockey player is very up in the air due to some bad concussions. Lastly, he highlighted how the Canucks had some reported interest in Wayne Simmonds to add the toughness the team would lose without Ferland in the lineup.
