With their 5-2 loss to the Washington Capitals in the rearview mirror, the Canucks have recalled Darren Archibald from the Utica Comets
The gritty winger has four goals and two assists in eight games with the Comets this season. He appeared in 27 games with the Canucks last season, picking up four goals and five assists. It’s safe to assume that Archibald will get in the lineup at some point in the back-to-back against Vegas and Arizona to provide some gumption and grit to the lineup.
With practice beginning at 11:15 AM PT, we will get a better idea of how the lines will shake out soon.
*update*
Brock Boeser not on the ice for #Canucks practice this morning.
Brock Boeser wasn’t on the ice this morning and is likely the reason why Archibald was recalled.
