Jan 14, 2015, 11:30 ESTUpdated:
We are back this week for your weekly Canucks Army Prospects Report, where we take a look at the week that was for each Canucks prospect.  As we enter the middle of January, we are almost halfway through this playing season for Canucks prospects. This means that we can start making pretty decent determinations that their output so far is fairly representative of their true talent level and current usage.
So let’s continue past the jump for more!

  • Cole Cassels was quieter this week than he has been on the year, having played in 3 games and only scoring 2 assists for a +2 and 2 PIM.  Cassels is currently 10th in Pts/GP in the OHL, and 14th in overall scoring.
  • Jared McCann had a similar week, playing in 2 games and
    scoring 2 goals while earning a -2.
  • Jordan Subban played in 3 games, scored 1 goal and added 4
assists, but still earned a -3 and 2 PIM.
Subban is back to 6th in OHL defencemen scoring.
  • Evan McEneny played in 3 games, scored 2 goals, and earned a
    -2 with 6 PIM.
  • Miles Liberati skated in 3 games, earning 2 assists and a
+3.  The Canucks have until this summer to
sign him to his entry level contract, or he will re-enter the draft and the Canucks will lose his rights, similar to Jordan Subban. Unlike Subban, I
would be surprised if Liberati was signed.
  • Kyle Pettit played in 3 games, scoring 1 goal and earned a
    -3.

the year, sending 6 shots at the net, earning 2 PIM and is drastically seeing his
      TOI drop per game.
    • Forsling had a bad game since returning from the World
Juniors.  He was a -4 and saw a massive
drop in his ice time as well.
