We are back with another edition
of the Canucks Weekly Prospect Report where I dig into all the latest stats,
rumours, gossip, news, achievements, and even made up stories from around the
different junior hockey leagues. We look into the play of all (non-AHL) Canucks prospects from the CHL, NCAA, Europe, and
even the ECHL.
Without further ado, continue
past the jump to see what went down!

Cassels skated in 2 games, had zeros across the board and 4 PIMs in the one
game, and 2 goals and 1 assist with a +3 in the other game.  Cassels had a 2 game suspension last week, his second on the year.
  • Jared
McCann continues to ride his new found success to the tune of 3 goals, and 6
assists in 3 games with a +6 and no PIMs.
McCann has now jumped Cole Cassels in OHL scoring and is 13th
in the league.  Outside of these reports McCann is starting to receive some love.
  • Jake
Virtanen played in 3 games this week scoring 1 goal and 2 assists to earn a +2.
  • Jordan
Subban had a pointless week where he earned 2 PIMs.
  • Evan
McEenny had a good week where he scored 1 goal and 3 assists to but was a -2
    and found 6 PIMs.
  • Miles
Liberati had an explosive game scoring 4 points in 1 of his 3 games, to earn a
    -2 on the week.
  • Kyle Pettit
skated in 2 games this week to earn 1 assist and a -1.
  • Anton
Cederholm picked up 1 assist in 3 games this week matching a +4 and 2 PIMs.
  • MacKenze
Stewart earned a +2 this week in 3 games.

  • Patrick
McNally is still injured and will be an interesting situation to see what the
Canucks do with him or if he will even leave school yet.
  • Joseph
LaBate played in 2 games for the Badgers this week and earned a -1 and 7 shots
on goal.  He still is second on the team
    in scoring.
  • Ben Hutton
seems to have some puck luck heading his way as he scored 1 goal and 1 assist
in 2 games, earning a +1 and 7 shots on goal.
The Canucks should try and encourage him to leave school to lock him
down before it becomes too easy for Hutton to walk away as a UFA.
  • No games
    again for Matthew Beattie.
  • No games
    this week for Mike Williamson.

Demko had a better week seeing all his statistics improve.  He played in 2 games where he made 22 of 24
saves and 33 of 35 saves to improve his save percentage to .924.  He is sitting at 23rd in the NCAA in save
percentage     and had a     33 save performance in BC’s 3-2 OT win over
Havard in the Beanpot consolation game.  He hurt his knee in the 2nd
period, but stayed in the game.

played less than 10 minutes twice (once only 6 minutes).
