We are back with another edition
of the Canucks Weekly Prospect Report, where I dig into all the latest stats,
rumours, gossip, news, achievements, and even made up stories from around the
different junior hockey leagues. We look into the play of all (non-AHL) Canucks prospects from the CHL, NCAA, Europe, and
even the ECHL.
Without further ado, continue
past the jump to see what went down!

The ECHL has finished their regular season and Kalamazoo has qualified for the post-season.  Kalamazoo finished 3rd in their division (8th in the Conference) and will start their first round series against Fort Wayne on Friday, April 17th.  Should Kalamazoo finish before Utica you will likely see a number of prospects recalled to the AHL (but will be unlikely to play).
  • Ludwig Blomstrand had 1 shot on goal and was a -2 in 1 game this week.  A Swedish article on Ludwig Blomstrand – it could be good.
  • Jeremie Blain had 2 assists, 1 shot on goal and a +3 this week in 1 game after another demotion to the ECHL (the Comets d-corps is full).
  • Dane Fox scored 4 goals this week, was a -3, shot 12 pucks on net and earned 18 penalty minutes.  Dane Fox was named Kalamazoo’s top Rookie of the Year.
  • Patrick Kennedy scored 1 goal in 3 games (from 3 shots on goal) and was a +2.
  • Kane Lafranchise scored 2 assists, fired 2 shots on goal and was a -2.
  • Mitch Holmberg scored 1 assist, was a -3, had 6 shots hit the net and earned 2 PIMs.
