  • TSN 1040’s Satiar Shah had Mike Zalewski as the 13th best prospect in the organization, and Michael Garteig as the 14th.
  • Jackson McDonald had Jakob Stukel as 17th and Brett McKenzie as 20th.
  • Tyler had the aforementioned Zalewski at 19th and Evan McEneny as the 20th best prospect in the organization.

As a group we were pretty much in consensus on who the top four prospects were, but the order varied. I was the only one to have Demko higher than Boeser, and that was simply due to Demko having a larger sample size in the NCAA to pull from.
We have all been in agreement that the Canucks boast some high-end prospects in Boeser, Juolevi and Demko but it seems to fall off from there. Furthermore, the Canucks do seem to have some talent throughout their defensive prospect rankings, but, aside from Boeser, lack some ‘sure bets’ in the forward ranks.
Regardless, it will be an interesting year to follow the prospects in the QMJHL, OHL, WHL, AHL, ECHL, NCAA, and Extraliga.
Thanks for reading the series this year.
