They haven’t taken us off the air yet. So if you will, please join us for the second episode of the Canucks Army Podcast.
Today I will be departing from the traditionally (for an episode) ascribed to guest formula. It’s a lineup ripe with Canucks Army mainstays, alumni and contributing partners. We touch on all topics relative to the world of Vancouver Canucks fandom and even check in on the status of the dearly departed, Eddie Lack.
For another streamable episode of the Canucks Army Podcast, join me on the other side of the jump.
The first guest of today’s episode is none other than Thomas Drance. Although he is best known in this medium as the former Canucks Army overlord, Drance has since moved on to become the Editor in Chief for the entirety of the Nations Network. His work can also be found on Sportsnet.ca, along with the occasional guest spot on Canucks.com.
Next up is resident goaltender and all-around solid dude, Greg Balloch. Balloch can be counted on a nightly basis to provide an awesome series of tweets, highlighting the six best saves from the league day of hockey. As a contributing author, Balloch’s work can be found with InGoal Magazine. The realm of goaltender analysis is Balloch’s expertise, so I pry his brain for all things goaltending. We discuss the goaltenders currently in Vancouver’s system and one that’s just recently left.
The last guest is a longtime Canucks Army contributor, who has since moved on to cover Rugby for The Province. That would be none other than Patrick Johnston. We discuss just about everything in Canucks land, but get into a philosophical discussion about player evaluation and some of the driving factors into the Canucks decision-making process.
