Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!
Elias Pettersson’s 14 game point streak was snapped Sunday night as the Canucks dropped a 4-1 decision to the LA Kings. Brock Boeser was the lone goalscorer for the Canucks, potting one early in the first period.
Vancouver will look to win their first game in game three of their five game homestand agains the Seattle Kraken, here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.
Player Prop
The former Canuck McCann has hit a new career high with 37 goals this season, much of that goalscoring success can be attributed to McCan’s ability to create shots of late. McCan has registered 41 shots in his last 10 games, which is an average of 4.1 per game.
Over/Under
The game to end with over 6.5 goals at -134. My $10 bet would return $17.50.
Vancouver and Seattle have played three times this season, not only has the over hit in all thee games but both team have combined for 27 goals in that span, which is an average of 9 goals per game.
Money-Line
Seattle to win money-line at -112. My $10 bet would return $19.
Seattle has never won a game in Vancouver, but I think that changes tonight. Seattle still hasn’t clinched a playoff spot and are still jockeying for positioning in the standings. The Kraken are also incredible on the road ranking fifth league wide in point percent.
Seattle doesn’t need to deal with Thacher Demko, as Colin Delia has been named the starter for Vancouver.
Last Game Bets
Alex Iaffalo to register over 2.5 shots at +100. My $10 bet would return $20. – HIT
Vancouver to score a power play goal at +100. My $10 bet would return $20. – MISSED
LA to win money-line at -118. My $10 bet would return $18.50 – HIT
We staked $30 and returned $38.50, we’re now up $72.28 on the year.
