The NHL regular season is almost upon us and there are questions to be answered – who will play with the Sedins? Will Brock Boeser start the season in Utica? Is Chris Tanev good at anything other than suppressing shots from the opposition?
- Chris Tanev, the Canucks’ representative at NHL Media Day, is good at a lot of things – he’s a good defenceman, a good teammate, and apparently a great model.
- One thing he is not good at is drawing. This is an eel.

- New Canucks Michael Del Zotto and Sam Gagner joined Sportsnet 650 at the PNE this weekend. They talked about their decision to sign in Vancouver and they win a smurf! ALso, Michael Del Zotto is a DJ.
- Patrick Wiercioch wanted to wear #95 in honour of his son’s hero, Lightning McQueen but then his son said that #95 was only for Mr. McQueen, so Patrick will wear #90. Kids are great.
- Let’s get to know Thomas Vanek! Pretend he’s saying “Vancouver” every time he says “Montreal” and this will do:
