Between training camp, new contracts, golf tournaments, and boybands, it was a busy week for the Canucks. Let’s relive the highlights.
- First of all, take a minute to reflect upon the most important moment in Canucks history:
- Bo Horvat finally signed a contract this week! He tweeted about it with a lot of exclamation marks!!!
Couldn't be happier spending the next 6 years here in Vancouver!!This is where my heart is and where I want to be. Let's get going!! #Nucks
- And then proceeded to roast Ben Hutton.
Flop.
- Bo did a Q&A on the Canucks Twitter account, covering topics such as his teammates’ hair, Gus, Ben Hutton’s chattiness, and pineapple on pizza.
Chris Tanev has some competition this year from the new guy @MichaelDelZotto 💁♂️💁♂️ h
Gus. Agreed @troystecher? 🐶
.@bhutt10, by a lot. 🗣🗣🗣 ht
No. I hate 🍍on 🍕 h
- He also had fun laughing at a vintage Troy Stecher photo in Penticton this week. A good week for Bo.
Horvat was doing an interview when he spotted @troystecher in a @PentictonVees photo. "Whoaaaa Troy!!"
- Always humble Chris Tanev was asked what rule he would change if he ran the NHL, and he just wants his more talented friends to have a good time at the Olympics.

- The Jake Milford Charity Invitational took place this week. Jake loves the Jake.

Horvat and Hutton also love the Jake.

The Sedins wore matching outfits because that’s just who they are.

And Erik Gudbranson looked like he’s in the middle of a photoshoot, obviously.

- Player Media Day was fun for everyone except for Loui Eriksson:

- Sven Baertschi, Jacob Markstrom, and Anders Nilsson legitimately look like the same man in three different stages of his life. A human Pokemon evolution.
🎤: @BoHorvat, @SvenBaertschi, @j_markstrom & Anders Nilsson
- By now you’ve all probably read the Sedins’ letter to their adopted home. They’re the best, but we already knew that.
