Now that the election is over, it’s time to bring our focus back to the important matters, such as the Sedins’ acting abilities, Ben Hutton’s adorable mother, and Jake Virtanen’s thoughts on Hannah Montana:
- Jake Virtanen debuted CanucksTV’s newest feature: Rater Over/Under. Jake had to discuss Miley Cyrus, bike lanes, Star Wars, beards, and more. I like that Virtanen happily admits to loving small puppies, beards on hockey players, and the show Hannah Montana. I wonder how many of his teammates even know what the Hoedown Throwdown is.
- Henrik and Daniel’s Sportsnet commercial is very corny and very perfect. In light of recent events, it may have made more sense if Daniel had spilled the salt all over the countertop, missing his plate completely. It’s still a pretty good TV spot, though.
How did the Sedins get so good at finding each other on the ice? A lot of practice. #BrightestStars @SNChrisSimpson https://t.co/in16TSRCVS

- Ben Hutton’s mother thinking that his fans were his friends is just about the cutest thing in the world:
- Alex Burrows strung together a hat trick of fun stuff this week. Least exciting was the penalty he took for skating too close to Scottie Upshall.
Burrows also pulled this amazing face, destined for memehood:
And finally, Burrows’ hilarious attempt to avoid a shoot-in that went viral:

- The Canucks All Access video from their California road trip contains some familiar things, like Kevin Bieksa, Ryan Kesler, and the Canucks losing a soccer ball.
- Finally, a nice photo of Brandon Sutter and his cousin Chris, son of Kings’ head coach Darryl Sutter.
