Babych Please – Mar. 25th, 2016

Mar 25, 2016, 12:00 EDTUpdated:

The Canucks scored two goals this week. They didn’t do a lot of interesting stuff off the ice either, but if you want to know how Brandon Sutter feels about trucks, you’re in the right place.
- This is where we’re at as a city, by the way:

- The Canucks posted not one but two Over/Under videos this week! Brandon Sutter is the most Alberta man there ever was. He has such a range of emotions when asked about Nickelback!
- Meanwhile, Sven Baertshi takes on everything from Harry Potter to Batman. I approve of Sven’s opinions, but some of them are pretty controversial. Especially the Bieber one:
- Emerson Etem mic’d up is basically the same as all other mic’d up videos – it’s a little fun, but it’s mostly just incoherent yelling and skating noises:
The handshake-thing that happens between Etem and Hutton is pretty fun though:

- The Canucks reunited with old pal Zack Kassian last Friday and the post-game hugs were nice. The Sedins are such dads, always.

- Here is a fun story about Andrey Pedan, the large Canucks defenseman who is helping the even larger Canucks defenseman Nikita tryamkin adjust to North America:
“A few years ago, Andrey Pedan left Russia to play junior hockey with the Guelph Storm of the OHL. He had taken some English lessons before leaving home, so he had some of the basics down.Still, there were challenges.“One day a teammate says to me, ‘what’s up,” Pedan said with a laugh. “I had no idea what that means. Afterwards, I picked up some of the slang and within four months I was pretty comfortable with having a conversation, but not as comfortable as now”
- I searched the internet for something fun about Anton Rodin, who the Canucks signed this week but he seems to be a pretty low-key guy. All I could find was a video of him talking about baseball while sniffling (that also features a very silly young Eddie Lack and a very confused young Chris Tanev) and this photo of him dressed up as Johnny Depp (probably).

- If you were wondering, Roberto Luongo is still the best.
