Only time will tell if he’s the second coming of Zdeno Chara or Pavel Bure, but Nikita Tryamkin is officially in Vancouver and is already the largest member of the team! Read all about Nikita, his dog, and his new teammates below!
- The Russian giant has arrived! You’ve probably read all about Nikita Tryamkin’s size and potential, but look at his tiny dog!
- Tryamkin’s Instagram is filled with gems. Here he is at prospects camp. He is kneeling, Hunter Shinkaruk is standing up straight, and Thatcher Demko is standing on a milk crate:

- His teammate is probably the strongest man in the world!

- R.I.P. to the green guy.

- And here he is with a Russian hat:

- One final dog one:

- Bo Horvat has also learned about Tryamkin via Instagram and might take his large Russian friend to Bieber tomorrow. How fun!
- Jake Virtanen is going to Bieber tonight, and he’s taking heat for it:
- Jared McCann called Dan Hamhuis “The Salad Master” this week:
- Get to know relatively new Canuck Emerson Etem with this Over/Under video. The best part of this is his facial expression when he’s asked to think about dog sweaters. He also takes on big topics such as poutine and Cam Newton.
- Sven Baertschi was mic’d up for the Canucks’ win over Arizona this week. The best parts of the video come at the very beginning and at the very end. Sven opens with some discussion about Ben Hutton’s flow and then Yannick Weber and Luca Sbisa get into a friendly tussle during the celebration. There’s a fun conversation about Sven’s potentially broken nose, too.
- The Canucks donated $1 million to BC Children’s Hospital this week and had a visit from some special guests in the dressing room:

- Finally, it’s beach night for the Muskegon Lumberjacks and their uniforms are something. Those faux-thighs!
