Babych Please – June 3rd, 2016

It’s June! This means we’ve got only four months until we have to get to watch the Canucks again! In the meantime, let’s catch up with old Canuck Nick “BoninoBoninoBonino” Bonino, some current Canucks, and a future Canuck (maybe).
- If you have not seen the Hockey Night in Punjabi call of Nick Bonino’s game 1 OT winner, you are missing out. If you have seen it but are not currently watching it, you are also missing out. Bonino has heard the call and loves it, obviously.
- The Canucks have had relatively uneventful summers, but here’s a quick catch-up just in case you wanted to know Bo Horvat’s exercise routine. New Canuck Erik Gudbranson seems to be having a great time in South Africa with Shawn Matthias, which is nice!
- Ben Hutton spoke to a paper in Maine about his rookie season and his experience on Team Canada. The most important thing to take from this is that Ben Hutton still loves to smile:
“Every time I put that jersey on, I had a little bit of a grin on my face” via
- The Canucks might pick Matt Tkachuk at fifth overall which would be fun for anyone who is a fan of Ricky from Trailer Park Boys.
- The most off-seasony off-season news ever: Ryan Miller went to a movie premiere in a baseball shirt.
- This draft preview video that the Canucks made is amazing. The intense voice-overs hyping up a motivated and active Jim Benning are everything I didn’t know I needed.
- Somehow I missed this last week, but Roberto Luongo’s farewell to Gudbranson is both fun and a little ominous.
