The Canucks had a lot of fun this week, meeting famous soccer players, graduating, running into Italian fans, and even winning a trophy (for real!).
- Young Canuck Jalen Chatfield (on the right in the photo below) won the Memorial Cup this weekend and sure does look like a real hockey player. Hopefully he will cherish this moment because who knows when he’ll win another playoff game.
- This week in wholesome hockey moments, Erik Gudbranson ran into a Canucks fan on his way to Florence, Italy. I wonder how this kind man got into hockey – maybe Italian-born Luca Sbisa is really big in Florence? Regardless, this is adorable.

- It’s very cool and impressive that the Sedin twins got their honourary degrees from Kwantlen Polytechnic University this week, but I’m beyond distracted by how fun their gowns and hats. I can’t think about the degrees because the outfits are too fun.
Almost show time, but Henrik Sedin still makes time to sign a @Canucks jersey #Convocation @presadavis
All dressed and ready receive an honorary degree from @KwantlenU for citizenship, sportsmanship, civility, respect and care.
- This picture of the Sedins and Vancouver make-up artist Fairyn Lopez is adorable and only made better by Brock Boeser’s photobomb.

- Before they were photobombed by Boeser, the twins took on young Brock and Troy Stecher in a game of Spikeball, which looks wild. Stecher tries to trick the Sedins and it ends poorly. Fun!
Spikeball. North Dakota bros vs. actual bros.
- Nikolay Goldobin and Jonathan Dahlen met Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the Keg this week!

- Some significantly less-exciting Nikolay Goldobin news: he saw Baywatch and loved it.
- Ben Hutton realized that his constant smiling probably makes him appear less intimidating on the ice, so he got a tattoo of an angry bear. The bear is also a tribute to his days as a Maine Black Bear.
Did you guess 🐻? The start of @bhutt10's sleeve is a bear as a shoutout to his time playing for the Maine Black Bears! @MaineIceHockey
