Babych Please – June 17th, 2016

Happy Friday, readers! Celebrate the end of the work week with some Sedin soccer, a dog (duh), a sad-fanniversary, and more!
- The Canucks tweeted a congratulations to the Stanley Cup winning Pittsburgh Penguins and the whale, which obviously represents the Canucks themselves, is descending. Love it.
- The Sedin twins continue to be nice guys this week by surprising some young soccer players! It’s so fun that they go to children’s soccer camps even though they are not soccer players (anymore). It’s less fun that Henrik picked England to win Euro 2016. Is he ok?
- Yesterday, the Canucks announced a new ECHL affiliate: the Alaska Aces. But not the Filipino basketball playing ones, we hope.

- Super exciting off-season update: Bo Horvat and Linden Vey caught a Jays game and went golfing together this week.

Kevin Bieksa may no longer be a Canuck, but he still wants to make fun of poor Bo in the comments section of Linden Vey’s Instagram:

- Sven Baertschi signed on for another two years as a Canuck yesterday, which is great because he was one of the few fun parts of the 2015/16 Canucks season and also because he’s got a great dog:
- Speaking of Sven Baertschi’s dog, he was finally featured on @StanleyPup! Hooray!
- And finally, this week marked the five-year anniversary of this:
How far they’ve come.
