Babych Please – January 13th, 2017

Jan 13, 2017, 11:00 ESTUpdated:

It’s Friday the 13th, but the vibes are anything but unlucky over here at Canucks Army because it’s time for another edition of Babych Please, this time with a disproportionate amount of Luca Sbisa!
- Luca Sbisa was joined by junior reporters Jessica and Lauryn for the best interview ever. Luca reveals his savvy business side when asked what he would be doing if he wasn’t a hockey star. Sbisa loves hockey and his dog and his favourite ride at Disneyland, the Matterhorn Bobsleds.
- Staying with Sbisa, Luca shared some thoughts about his time as a Philadelphia Flyer with FortNucks. He talks about his billet home in Philly, his teenage self, and his love for the Mighty Ducks movies. Look how small he was.

- Sbisa’s pal Ben Hutton is out with an upper body injury, but he’s still cheering his pal on from the sidelines. Ben Hutton continues to be the nicest friend on the team.
- As far as rookie hazing goes, forcing a kid to serve his friends some meatballs is a fun and wholesome option. Troy Stecher looks the part with that Air Canada apron.
- Rodrigo Abols is the latest subject of the Canucks Prospect Profiles. Abols fills the Ronald Kenins shaped hole in the Latvian Canuck department. Abols seems like a pretty normal kid who loves his mom, his girlfriend, and Leonardo DiCaprio. And he totally looks like that guy from Remember the Titans.
- Thatcher Demko is from San Diego, so his new mask plays homage to one of San Diego’s most famous fictional heroes. He’s a fun kid.
- A mystery Canuck wore a Harry Potter t-shirt. They never told us who this was, but I’m guessing Brendan Gaunce, who loves Harry Potter.
