This week, the Canucks played some hockey but more importantly, they held their Superskills and there were so many cute babies! Read on for a few fun facts about Radim Vrbata, some adorable photos of adorable children, a little bit too much of Brandon Prust, a bit about Emerson Etem, and more!
  • Whoever decided to put a mic on Ben Hutton knew what they were doing. Before the game even starts, Ben gives us some singing, a sweet conversation with a junior trainer, and a fun rhyme for Brandon Prust. Hutton also calls Yannick Weber the best partner in the league and at the end does a weird little cackle at the expense of the Anaheim Ducks.
  • Jared McCann, Brandon Sutter, and Jake Virtanen’s knowledge of Radim Vrbata was put to the test in the latest installment of King of the Rink. I love the idea of Radim Vrbata as an assassin almost as much as I love the idea of Radim Vrbata as a drummer. And who knew he loved bisque?
  • Some cute photos from Saturday’s Superskills event made their way onto this week’s power rankings, but there are so many more that you need to see. Look at Horvat, Kenins, and Tanev interact with baby Dorsett. Wow.

  • And here we have Henrik Sedin being friendly to Alex Edler’s shy daughter:
  • Edler did not return the favour, instead choosing to attack the young Sedins:
  • Meanwhile, Daniel Sedin’s son just wanted his father to pay attention to him:
  • And baby Higgins tried her best to give her dad her pacifier:
  • Not quite as cute as the Superskills photos but still kind of sweet – Brandon Prust appeared on the cover of Chatelaine magazine:
  • Prust also appeared in the magazine itself. It’s is more tasteful than Kesler’s stormy nudes, but I’m still a little unsure about this one:

  • Also, Etem makes a somewhat convincing Kanye West, which is fun.

  • And finally, it’s nice to see that Jake Virtanen’s priorities are in the right place. Hair before everything.
