The Canucks will not have the opportunity to lose games until next Thursday, so as Daniel Sedin heads to Nashville and his teammates head to fancy beach resorts, we get to focus on fun stuff such as Jared McCann’s opinions on Calgary and Chris Tanev’s fondness for pillows!
- Do you ever wish certain Canucks were stranded on a deserted island? Find out what three items the team would bring to said island in the video below! Bo Horvat acknowledges his own beefiness while Derek Dorsett has major plans for a jug. Ryan Miller veers off into a tangent about how annoying Jannik Hansen is and Dan Hamhuis makes himself blush when he asks if his wife counts as an item. Also, I’m not totally sure what’s going on with Chris Tanev here. Tanev is the guy who answered a question about alien abduction with a rant that started with “Do I want to avoid that?” and ended with “What happens when the helicopters come to shoot them down?”, so I think they should stop including him in these hypothetical interviews:
- Find out how Jared McCann feels about smoothies, Tinder, Don Cherry, the city of Calgary, and more! His Calgary answer is definitely the best part, though CanucksTV asking him to shower Trevor Linden with compliments is also good.
- Ben Hutton visited Edmonds Community School this week. Hutton is known for smiling 24/7 so this went exactly as you’d expect it to go. Hutton receives a Play-doh pizza, makes a scary little face out of pipecleaners, and reads a book about a pug. During the Q&A portion, he has trouble convincing the children that red is in fact his favourite colour. It’s a nice little video:
- A bunch of NHLers, including the Sedin twins, wore GoPros and showed off. The video, which can be found here, proves that the Sedins stickhandling looks cool from any angle.
