Babych Please – Jan. 22nd, 2016

Jan 22, 2016, 11:00 ESTUpdated:

The Canucks gave up approximately 2000 shots this week, but they had an absolute blast away from the rink. Burrows met his #1 fan, Henrik fought a teammate, Jared McCann did not eat a hotdog, and Jake Virtanen spun!
- Alex Burrows surprised his biggest fans at New Town Bakery. This lady loves Burrows and the whole video is adorable. I especially love when Burrows says that he didn’t understand why anyone would buy his jersey over the twins or Luongo.
- There’s a long behind-the-scenes video from the first part of this Canucks’ road trip, but the best bits are definitely the post-game celebrations, especially this one after Sunday’s game in Brooklyn. Ben Hutton, who had just scored his first career goal, says “BOOM! ROASTED!” multiple times.
- Adam Cracknell, Jake Virtanen, and Jared McCann took a little tour of NYC and CanucksTV filmed it all. Jared McCann steals the show here, waving goodbye to a taxi and saying appetizer all wrong. The hotdog break is also good.
- Cracknell had words for McCann’s hotdog refusal afterwards:
- Daniel Sedin is going to the All-Star Game! He talked to NHL.com about how slow he is and the likelihood of him ever wearing cowboy boots. Read the interview here.
- If you’ve ever wanted to know what Brandon Prust’s favourite reality TV show is, this is the video for you:
- Jared McCann and his friend Thatcher Demko caught up while McCann was in Boston. Cute!

- If you don’t believe that the Sedins are the new goons, check this out – Henrik Sedin practiced fighting with Linden Vey in practice. Those guys watching are loving it.
- On Thursday, Chris Tanev was crosschecked into the boards and the boards mocked him for it:

- Jake Virtanen has moves. He and his rookie friends kind of embarrass themselves in this video, but it’s not all bad.
Look at him go!
