Babych Please – August 9th

Aug 9, 2015, 16:28 EDTUpdated:

Welcome back to Babych Please, where I get talk about dogs and gifs and almost nothing else! This week also brings you some world junior highlights and an above average amount of Jarkko Ruutu. This article is several days late because Jeff is blissfully unaware of how this site works and didn’t question a saved draft with a date in the title.
- Bo Horvat and his tiny dog Gus checked in with the Canucks over the long weekend. Gus Horvat is rocking the Canucks collar to match Bo’s signature chain. Gus is currently hoping to takeover from Kali Bonino as the coolest Canucks dog.

- We bid farewell to the adorable Kali with this bizarre photo of her looking like a very cute but very scary lobster.
- Jake Virtanen is at the World Juniors Showcase scoring goals, throwing Russians to the ice, and having a good time doing so.

- Brock Boeser is suiting up for Team USA at the showcase and scored a hat trick against Sweden. That’s what makes you beautiful, Brock.
- The Canucks provided a #tbt on their Youtube channel with a look at the 2005 team’s trip to California. Note the beachy attire of most of the team apart from the Sedin twins. who wear nearly matching polo shirts. Tommy Larscheid also makes an appearance!
