People visiting from other cities always ask me why Vancouver doesn’t have @Uber or @lyft. Good question. What’s the answer?

While the Stanley Cup Playoffs are in the thick of things, the Canucks got a head start on the off-season. Some went on vacation, some returned home, and one special boy celebrated a birthday!

As most of you may know, Francesco Aquilini recently caused quite the Twitter storm with a 15-tweet message (not a thread). He’s been very active as of late, tweeting almost daily about sports, politics, the Canucks, or inspirational messages. Given the lack of activity that is bound to occur throughout the summer, I’m creating a new weekly segment of Babych Please called Following Francesco:
After high school, when I told my dad I wanted to play pro football he said, "You should come work with me instead." I think he knew I wasn't good enough to make it as a pro. Sometimes the best advice is exactly what you don't want to hear.
Fascinating election coming up in Vancouver. Going to be a whole new team at City Hall in October. Some strong candidates hoping to succeed @MayorGregor
