The season is over but the Canucks are still doing fun stuff like putting Snapchat filters on Jake Virtanen’s face, allowing Ben Hutton to be himself, and starting Twitter fights with the Edmonton Oilers. 
  • Local boy and Brock Boeser’s North Dakota teammate Troy Stecher signed with the Canucks this week. He was confused about this concept in December of 2014. 
  • The Canucks posted this to their Snapchat story this week and I’m just not sure that it needed to happen:
  • This is old but extremely important! Luca Sbisa loves mayonnaise and hates “neyo song”.

  • Ben Hutton loves to make weird faces! Look at him go:
  • Speaking of Ben Hutton, he was named to Team Canada’s World Championship team and will represent his country with Chris Tanev. He announced this apologetically at the post-season media availability to the surprise of all of his teammates:

  • Twitter user @VanCanucks capped off the year with a great tweet about the Rexall Place celebrations. Sadly, the Oilers were ready with a comeback. 
  • Winnipeg Jet Brandon Tanev does the same vacant stare that his brother Chris does. 
  • The Canucks posted this cute “Thank you fans!” drawing on their Instagram. The best bit is Nikita Tryamkin not fitting into the photo and Jared McCann’s insanely sharp jaw. 10/10.

Breaking News
