It’s Friday, which means it’s time to talk about everything silly or nice or dog-related that the Canucks did this week.
- The Canucks Autism Network hosted their annual Reveal Gala this week. This video includes appearances from a swanky Erik Gudbranson, a legendary Hayley Wickenheiser, and a ridiculously talented teenager named Christopher Duffley.
- Alex Edler is having fun at the World Championships, except when he remembers that his time with that Swedish blueline is limited:
- Props to Troy Stecher for sharing images of his insanely adorable dog at least once a week. Here’s Phoebe at a hockey game. What a good dog.
- The Daily Hive compiled a list of 10 Vancouver athletes that are worth a follow on Instagram. Four Canucks made the cut – Gudbranson, Hutton, and Virtanen need to step up their Insta-game if they want to make next year’s list.
- Brock Boeser attended prom with NoDak fan Baylee Bjorge last year, and the two have remained friends. Brock sent her a Canucks jersey as soon as he signed his first NHL contract and got the chance to sign it for her this week. He is a good one.
- What’s better than watching Connor McDavid play hockey? Watching him try to figure out how to pose with affectionate fans.
