> Welcome to the party: Tonight is the first time Tomas Fleischmann will step foot into the rivalry. This past summer Fleischmann was rumored to be a trade possibility in exchange for Bieksa, but obviously that never happened and Colorado moved Scott Hannan for Fleischmann instead. He’s play on the top line with Duchene and Hejduk, meaning they’ll draw Hammer and Juice all evening.

Everyone Buries Raymond: Vancouver’s forward ranks could be the envy of the league since Vigneault has decided to insert 20+ goal scorer Mason Raymond onto the fourth line with Bolduc and Glass (at the expense of Volpatti who will sit in the press box). I can’t imagine Raymond stays buried long, but credit AV for keeping his lines intact during their torrid winning pace, which includes the fourth line who is receiving more TOI and has been far more responsible than last year’s bottom three.
