Here’s a late Monday edition of the complete Canucks schedule for the week of February 6th to 12th. The Canucks play a whopping four games this week, all on the road, as they try to salvage their playoff hopes. If you’ve already given up on them, there are plenty of prospets to watch, including Adam Gaudette who will play four times this week, including at least once on TV.
Come check out the full schedule to see what other fun stuff is on the docket.

Games to Watch

  • Monday, 2:00pm PST: Adam Gaudette is having an amazing season with the Northeastern University Huskies, and is without a doubt the hottest Canucks prospect going right now. If you want to catch a glimpse of him in action, he’s already on TSN2 right now. GO! QUICK!
Depending on how Northeastern does in that game, they may be on TV again tomorrow. It’s the annual Beanpot tournament, where the top Boston-area schools (Boston College, Boston University, Harvard and Northeastern) face off against one another. The winners of todays games will play another televised game tournament for the Beanpot title, while the losers of today’s games will play an untelevised consolation game.
Also of note: senior Zack Aston-Reese, one of Gaudette’s teammates, is having a stellar year and will be a sought-after college free agent this spring.
  • Wednesday, 6:00pm PST: Jakob Stukel and the Calgary Hitmen host the Regina Pats on Wednesday, who boast the WHL’s two highest scorers: Anaheim prospect Sam Steel and Toronto prospect Adam Brooks. Their typical third linemate: 2017 draft eligible prospect Jake Leschyshyn, a potential second of third rounder who showed well in last week’s CHL Top Prospects game.
  • Friday, 3:00pm PST: I know I’ve done this exact matchup before, but it’s probably the best one out there if you’re interested in both Canucks prospects and draft eligible prospects: the Charlottetown Islanders vs the Halifax Mooseheads.
Charlottetown not only has two Canucks prospects in Guillaume Brisebois and Carl Neill, they also have Pierre-Olivier Joseph, another defenceman who attended the CHL Top Prospects game. As for the Mooseheads, their top line contains Nico Hischier, the Swiss phenom who’s looking to challenge Nolan Patrick for the number one overall spot, and Maxime Fortier, who went undrafted last year but could be a mid-round pick in June, 2017.
  • Saturday, 4:00pm PST: Cole Candella’s Hamilton Bulldogs host the Windsor Spitfires on Saturday evening. You can check out Candella, as well as his teammates Matthew Strome and Mackenzie Entwistle as they battle it out with Gabriel Vilardi, a potential top-five selection, and Michael DiPietro, one of the top ranked goaltending prospects for 2017.
