VIDEO: How creating cap space can make a trade even better: Canucks Conversation Dec. 2nd

On Friday’s episode of Canucks Conversation, CanucksArmy’s Chris Faber was joined by Harman Dayal of The Athletic to talk about a number of topics surrounding the Vancouver Canucks.

The guys broke down the team’s Thursday night loss to the Florida Panthers, talked about the loss of Thatcher Demko, and spoke about the benefit of having cap space.

Harman points to the Carolina Hurricanes as an example of a team that’s learned to weaponize their cap space as a means of acquiring assets and improving their teams. The two talk about the Canucks’ need to get ahead of their upcoming decisions and have a clear plan in place that allows them to get to a point where they too are able to weaponize their cap space.
