The Vancouver Canucks will be without Tanner Pearson for the next four weeks.
Head coach Travis Green confirmed the news Friday morning with Pearson suffering from an ankle issue. The injury happened late in Wednesday’s game against the Ottawa Senators.
It’s unknown exactly what happened to Pearson, but University of Manitoba Family Medicine Resident Dr. Harjas Grewal, who also tweets information on injuries suffered in the NHL, speculated it could be a sprained ankle.
Based off his suggested grading and timetable, one can assume that Pearson’s ankle injury is between a grade one and grade two sprain.
Pearson has appeared in 33 games for the Canucks this year scoring six goals and 11 points.
